Air is A Thief

The most common thief in a compressed air system is leaking air.

I would like to help you catch that thief!

There are three different types of leaks.

  • Leaks that can be felt and heard
  • Leaks that can be felt but not heard
  • Leaks that cannot be felt or heard

Tracking the Cubic Feet per Minute and $$$ wasted per leak is very difficult and time consuming. You do not get an itemized compressed air bill at the end of the month.

I bet most people do not know that fixing a leak may actually drive up your energy bill.  Leaks need to be fixed in a specific fashion. Most people just fix them without knowing what the implications are. Email me at cjohnson@airpowerequip.com and we can set up a time to to go through a process that works.

What do the different types of leaks cost?

  • Leaks that can be felt and heard = $700/leak
  • Leaks that can be felt but not heard = $500/leak
  • Leaks that cannot be felt or heard = $400/leak

Walk through your facility and count the leaks you can hear and multiply by $700.00. Most people will feel faint so you should walk through with me so I can catch you when you faint. Call me at 612-554-4516 to set up a time to walk through your facility.

We can track, tag and itemize your leaks even when you are running production.  You may even qualify for a rebate from your local power company.

Introducing a New Evolution in Piping...

In the past, compressed air users have been burdened by the limitations of traditional piping systems - difficult installation and modification, poor air quality, and high pressure losses are all common problems. Constructed of anodized aluminum extrusion, Evolution is a modular piping system that's ideal for compressed air installations of any size. Yet despite its quick, easy assembly, Evolution offers unexpected flow rates of up to 8,000 cfm for most compressor room applications and 16,000 cfm for most factory loop systems.

With Simplair Evolution, you gain advantages formerly unheard of in integrated piping systems.

Flexible Design:  Evolution's modular design means quick, easy installation. Even system modifications can be completed in seconds, minimizing downtime.

Superior Performance:  The Smooth Bore of Evolution tubing prevents high-pressure losses, and allows higher flow rates than traditional piping systems.

Easy Expansion:  Because outlets and connections can be made in seconds, expansion is simple with minimum cost and production disruptions.

High Air Quality:  Each Evolution tube is anodized to prevent corrosion from forming inside pipes, affording contaminant-free air throughout the system.

Leak-Free Seals:  Our Positive "O" ring seal ensures that leaks will not occur at any stage of the system's life.

Lightweight Material:  Evolution offers the same structural strength as traditional piping, but with less than a quarter of the weight, making it the perfect choice for roof structures, walls or machinery.

Sleek Appearance:  Ergonomically designed to fit the demands of modern facilities, Evolutions can enhance any working environment.
