The Point-of-Use Provider (PUP) is a 3-in-1 solution for the bottom of a compressed air drop. In one compact unit, the PUP is a filter, an automatic drain, and a manifold for multiple distribution. A 1-micron coalescing filter efficiently removes particles of moisture, oil and any other contaminant.

The automatic drain (with manual override) at the bottom of the PUP reliably removes condensate from the air line to help protect instruments from rust and scale. The PUP has a 1-inch female inlet port on the top of the unit, and on the sides of the PUP are (two) 1/2-inch and (two) 3/8-inch outlet ports to allow easy installation into any system.

Particle removal down to 1 micron including coalesced liquid water and oil, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.6 mg/m3 (0.5 ppm) at 21°C (70°F).

The outlet manifold provides a simple, cost-effective solution to the untidy array of tees and elbows normally used to create outlets. The manifold is made of lightweight, durable anodized aluminum and features the following outlets: (2) 1-inch NPT (top & bottom), (2) 1/2-inch NPT, (2) 3/8-inch NPT, and (2) 1/4-inch NPT. Plugs are provided for each outlet and have O-rings so that pipe sealant is not required. The point-of-use manifold is suitable for use with SpeedLine SL, steel, copper and other piping systems.

The compressed air exhausts through a gap, which is set with a shim, positioned between the cap and the body of the air knife. Adding shims to open the gap may easily increase force and flow through the air knife.

Line vacuum conveyors are ideal for moving large volumes of material over long distances. A small amount of compressed air is injected through directed nozzles to produce a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other, with instantaneous response. The material flow rate is controlled with a pressure regulator.
