Single hose spring rewind reels have a narrow frame and compact mounting base. A heavy-duty spring motor provides self-contained rewind power. A non-sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel when the desired length of hose has been paid out. A pull on the hose unlocks the reel and the spring motor retracts the hose. A declutching arbor is provided to prevent damage from reverse winding. (Reels can be fitted with up to 50 feet of 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch hose)

A hose stop for 1/2-inch hose is supplied as standard with the reel to prevent damage to rollers and nozzles and to permit adjustment of free hose length. (When using 3/8-inch hose, a 3/8-inch hose stop must be ordered as a separate item CCN 38329298).

Two connections are required. (2) 3/8-inch connections (CCN 38328381) or (2) 1/2-inch connections (CCN 38328415) plus incoming hose to reel and outgoing hose.

This unique tool combines a hose cutter with a toggle-action that presses the fitting into the hose. Designed to handle Speed-Lok hose from 1/4-inch through 3/4-inch, this tool makes the job easier whether you are making one assembly or a hundred.

A self-retracting air hose is now available through Ingersoll-Rand. The hose is made from tough, abrasion-resistant nylon which has excellent memory characteristics over a wide temperature range: -40°F to +200°F. The quality material offers a long service life in even the most rugged applications. The burst pressure and maximum working pressure are 680 PSIG and 170 PSIG, respectively. The hose has brass fittings on each end already installed, and one end is a swivel connection.

Our new composite hose reel provides excellent durability at a great value. All composite reels are made of tough glass-filled composite material combined with a strong steel base.

Ingersoll-Rand Speed-Lok hose is a general-purpose hose made of a high-quality, durable synthetic rubber. The hose is ideal for general industrial, maintenance and automotive applications. The hose has a blue shell, color-coded for “compressed air.” The maximum temperature limit for the hose is 158°F

The working pressure is 250 PSIG and the burst pressure is 1,000 PSIG. The vacuum rating is 28 in Hg. The hose does not need to be crimped at the job site, but rather can be cut to the required length, and then fitted to the system with the fittings on page 18. The hose comes on a 250-foot roll, but can be sold by the foot under the CCNs shown below.

Ingersoll-Rand offers a premium rubber air hose, specifically designed for heavy-duty applications, such as industrial, maintenance, automotive and/or construction. The hose is 3/8-inch x 50-feet, and red in color with the Ingersoll-Rand brand printed on it in black. It has black hose restrictors on each end, provides a 300 PSI working pressure and a 4:1 safety burst ratio.

The Ingersoll-Rand quick couplings have hardened wear points and load bearing areas (for steel nipples only) and precision machined surfaces for durability in the toughest applications. Precision molded seals form a tight seal for reliable operation, and hardened steel locking balls provide a strong connection with evenly distributed loads. The 3/8-inch body size couplers have larger orifices to minimize pressure drop. For a complete set, both a coupler and nipple of the same body size are required.
